Giving Back
Whether it's prejudice for holding hands in the street or the violation of basic human rights, queer people are still disadvantaged, discriminated and criminalised just for being ourselves.
But even through adversity, our community is flourishing, and we're here to celebrate the differences that connect us through a passion for fabulous spirits.
We donate £1 from every sale to our charity partners to support their incredible work in ensuring a free, safe and equal world for our LGBTQ+ community. No corporate jargon, just an honest and upfront commitment to giving back.
So when you choose Queer Gin as your next tipple, you will be supporting these amazing efforts and helping to keep our beautiful community flourishing.
Our Charity Partners
Not A Phase
Not A Phase is a trans-led, grassroots charity committed to uplifting and improving the lives of trans+ adults, through awareness campaigning, social projects and funding trans+ lead initiatives. Discovering that there wasn’t a charity which focused solely on the support of trans+ and gender diverse adults, Not A Phase was born.
The charity aims to give the trans+ and gender non-conforming community space to thrive, whilst working with organisations on D&I strategies to promote positive change. You can find more about the great work they do at their website here.
Kaleidoscope Trust
In 69 countries around the world, LGBTQ+ people are criminalised because of who they are and who they love. In over half of those countries, homophobic laws passed during Britain’s colonial rule have yet to be repealed. The prejudices of the past have very real consequences in our present.
Established in 2011, Kaleidoscope Trust is a UK-based charity focused on fighting for the human rights of LGBTQ+ people across the Commonwealth and beyond. They fund, fight for and empower those upholding the human rights of LGBTQ+ people by working with governments, change-makers and civil society organisations to effect meaningful and lasting change in the lives of LGBTQ+ people everywhere.
Queer Initiatives
In addition to our charity partners, we sponsor queer organisations and events across the UK, including Blackstage, which provides a platform for queer pole dancers of colour, and Hells Bells, a grassroots football team that welcomes women, trans people, and gender nonconforming people of all abilities.
